Dear New Undergraduate Student,

Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and just as importantly on your decision to accept the offer! The Orientation staff is looking forward to your arrival, and we welcome you to Carolina Orientation!

Our summer orientation program is designed to help you make a smooth transition to Carolina. We offer CTOPS (Carolina Testing & Orientation Program Sessions), which is required for all first-year students; and TSOP (Transfer Student Orientation Program), which is strongly encouraged for incoming transfer students.

All new undergraduates are encouraged to participate in our Week of Welcome (WOW). Each of these programs provides you with critical information for a successful academic experience and an opportunity to meet new friends.
